Happy New Year! I'm hoping that everyone has had a safe and happy holiday!

I wanted to throw a question out to see if anyone had an answser. I've been sitting on a children's book for a few years. I have illustrated and written it myself. Does anyone know where or how to go about getting something like this published.

There are so many publishing houses out there and I do not want to get rooked.

Thank you!

There are a couple of librarians/former librarians at the Carnegie Library who have bee published (Megan MacDonald - the Judy Moody and Stink books, as well as Rebecca O'Connell with Baby Goes Beep) I would check out their publishers, but also it would not hurt to talk to Rebecca O'Connell if you were able to get a hold of her through e-mail, etc. I believe she is still local. I have met her a few times, but I don't have her contact info.

I absolutely love children's books! Good luck!

Thank you so much for the information! Hopefully I can find her. At least I know the information would be correct. I'm not so trusting of the on line publishers that you have to pay.

Thanks again. If anyone else has a lead I'd be happy to take it!
