i bought a few full-spectrum ("daylight") fold up table lamps on clearance a while back but haven't had an event since where i knew i'd have electricity. the tag on them says daylightcompany.com but i forget where i bought them. joann regularly has sales on the ott-lite lamps which are basically the same thing.

they are great for brightening a table and making colors look vivid and true, they travel well, and perhaps best of all they face down. i was at a show once where a vendor had the most blindingly obnoxious slightly-outward-facing table lighting. it actually hurt to look in the direction of their table, particularly for other seated vendors. in most cases a good full-spectrum bulb can make your table look bright and clean (and everyone elses look rather dingy by comparison).
