others with a common dream...

Looking for that elusive supply or one more of that certain something? Why not ask!

others with a common dream...

Postby cosy on Thu Oct 23, 2008 11:55 am

lately i've been totally side tracked by the dream to have an open studio.

an open studio, in case you don't know, is a space for teaching, selling, and working... a studio that people can come in to. a space to be and share our love of crafting things.

that said, i am a dyer, knitter, spinner who is in search of a couple of other people who would like to give this a go, share some space, teach some classes, etc.

now that said, i don't even know if i've the finances or anything else to allow for such a space, but i'd love to start considering it and maybe find someone else to consider it with.

cheers,
cosy

mmmm. a crafty space to work with others, teach classes and hang out. sounds like a dream come true!!

i wonder how much something like that would cost...and where a good location would be. and if there is any kind of funding for artists in the area. i heard a fun rumor about that but not sure if there is any truth to it.
