Postby sunstonesoap on Tue Jan 20, 2009 3:22 pm

Has anyone else received an email about the Odd Mall show on May 9 in Hudson, OH? It is their inagural year. I have asked for information about the type and number of vendor they will have, how they will promote, etc. You can read about it on:

Enjoy!

Hi Kim:
I got one today. I don't know anything about it though.

Here is what Andy Hopp the coordinator wrote back to me:

This will be the first year for Oddmall, so I can't provide you with any
empirical data about how many people will show up, but I will promise
that I'm doing everything I can to spread the word through online
advertising, magazine and newspaper ads and articles, fliers, word of
mouth, and anything else we can come up with (with the help of our
vendors, hopefully). Oddmall will also be having a charity raffle with
the proceeds to benefit the Heaven Can Wait Animal Rescue and Adoption
Center.

We have space for 78 vendors. Hopefully we'll fill them all. We look to
be on track, considering the website just went live two days ago and at
least 20 people have signed up so far.

Personally, although I've never run a craft show before, I have a lot of
experience with similar events as the director of Con on the Cob
(www.cononthecob.com), which houses a fantastic art show and a sizable
vendors room.
Enjoy!
