there is a huge show in franklin, PA. which is about 1 hr north of pgh. just go up RT 79. very easy. i'm talking huge show. tens of thousands of people over the whole weekend. lots for the family to see and do. hundreds of craft vendors. great food. car show.

i highly recommend getting there when it opens. you can still find local parking then (if not, you have to park far away and take a shuttle). and by the time you are ready to leave, it's starting to get really crowded.
we have a baby so pushing a stroller in crowds isn't any fun.

franklin is a really cute town. tons of historic homes. and the craft show is in the town square.

Has anyone been a vendor at the Franklin Apple Fest? If so, was it worth it?

I looked into it - the cost was $180 for a 10x10 space. They claimed they have 40,000 -- but I have done several "community" shows this summer and been disappointed with the traffic count & sales results.
Thanks!
Enjoy!
