Well, I use our egg cartons, dryer lint, and old candle wax to make fire starters:

omg. those are amazing! i might have to try that myself...though i think i only have the stupid icicle lights. bought those by mistake. think it would work for those too?

I love the idea with the cans...I've been trying to think of a way to tackle the bare space on my outdoor wall that borders my patio. I love plants and have tons of 'em so that might be the way to go!

Subu - I think it would create an interesting effect to scatter the egg carton cups among the lights...depending on how you display them or spread them out.

yeah. i was wondering how the round cups would work. i wasn't sure what part of the carton they had taken...
