Basic Bookbinding - January

Postby cosy on Sat Dec 27, 2008 12:11 am

Place and time still to be announced - but I thought I'd get the description up for this one.

This class will be an introduction to two basic bookbinding techniques: stab binding and pamphlet stitch. Individuals will be able to make up to 5 different soft-covered books during this class. All materials will be included.

Cost: $25 for members; $30 for non-members
Materials: Included
Time: 2 hours

Bio:
Emily has been surrounded by creativity her entire life. She was turned on to bookmaking in 2006 while fighting boredom at her day job. Emily is a self-taught book artist with a little formal training thrown in. She is also the sole-proprietor of Subu, Inc., an independent business where Emily is able to sell her handbound books, notepads and recycled notebooks.
